Phil is a graduate of the Universities of Keele (Criminology and Philosophy, First Class) and Cambridge (M.Phil in Criminological Research), and holds a PhD from the University of Durham.
He is on the Advisory Board of the Centre for Criminal Justice Studies, School of Law, University of Leeds, a leading international Centre for Criminological research.
Phil was formerly a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Leeds, a Research Associate at the University of Durham and Lecturer in Criminology at the University of York.
Phil and his team also work in collaboration with other consultancies, such as KPMG, Ortus Economic Research, M.E.L and Arcola Research, providing specialist skills and advice on relevant projects.
